El nido estaba ubicado en un parque en Malabar, Florida. La grulla madre demostró ser una buena madre, cuidando muy bien de sus crías. El padre estaba a lo lejos, no visible en esta imagen. El nido y las aves fueron fotografiados desde lejos, sin perturbarlas en absoluto.
