30 Day Return Policy for Damaged or Defective Items Only

We stand behind the quality of our products and accept returns from customers if the item is damaged or defective.  When your item is delivered, please inspect it carefully and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or misprinted by emailing us at info@shelldesignboutique.com within 30 days of receipt.  To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging, plus you should have a copy of your purchase receipt.  We reserve the right to deny a return if signs of use or wear are found.

To start a return, contact us at info@shelldesignboutique.com within 30 days of delivery with pictures or videos that show the problem clearly.  If we determine the item is defective, we’ll make arrangements for return shipping.  We will send the buyer a return shipping label, as well as instructions on where to send the defective item.  When we receive the returned item and determine that everything is in order, then we will issue a full refund to the original payment method.  We are not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged.  

Lost in Shipment/Item Never Arrives

For packages lost in transit, please first contact the shipping carrier who was shipping the item.  If you need this info or the tracking number, just send us an email.  They may be able to find your lost item.  If the shipping carrier cannot find your package, please submit a claim to us at info@shelldesignboutique.com no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. If we determine that an item has been lost in transit, the entire purchase price will be refunded to the original payment method.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refund Timeline

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your returned item.  If everything is in order, the return will be accepted and the buyer will automatically be refunded, minus any restocking fees if applicable, on their original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take time for a bank or credit card company to process and post a refund.  If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@shelldesignboutique.com to check on your refund.
